Throughout this lecture, Jenny Radesky, M.D., and Megan Moreno, M.D., M.S.Ed., M.P.H., will talk about youth-centered approaches to social media analysis and their affect on frameworks, strategies, and merchandise.
Dr. Radesky will current the DREAMER Mannequin (Dynamic, Relational, Ecologic Strategy to Media Results Analysis; Barr, Kirkorian, Coyne & Radesky, 2024), a brand new conceptual framework for conducting analysis on early childhood media use. About Dr. Radesky
Dr. Jenny Radesky is an Affiliate Professor of Pediatrics with tenure on the College of Michigan Medical College and Division Director of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Radesky earned her B.A. in Pure Sciences from Johns Hopkins College and her M.D. from Harvard Medical College. Since 2022, she has held management roles in her division, together with Service Chief and Division Director of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Radesky is board-certified in each Pediatrics and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and has been appointed as a Behavioral Professional with the U.S. Federal Commerce Fee as of 2024.
Dr. Radesky’s analysis focuses on the intersection of early childhood growth and digital media use, notably how parental cell system utilization impacts parent-child interactions and little one behavioral outcomes. Via modern methodologies and collaborations with interdisciplinary researchers, she continues to advance the examine of media use in early childhood, striving to translate these findings into scientific follow and public coverage.
About Dr. Moreno
Dr. Megan Moreno is a Professor of Pediatrics and Adjunct Professor of Instructional Psychology on the College of Wisconsin-Madison, the place she additionally serves as Vice Chair of Tutorial Affairs and Interim Chair of the Division of Pediatrics. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern College and her M.D. from George Washington College.
