About Dr. Sheftall
Arielle H. Sheftall, Ph.D., is an Affiliate Professor on the College of Rochester Medical Middle within the Division of Psychiatry in Rochester, New York. She is an affiliated school member within the Division of Psychology on the College of Rochester and the Director of Tutorial Affairs for the Range, Inclusion, Tradition, and Fairness (DICE) Board for the Division of Psychiatry.
Dr. Sheftall’s analysis focuses on the developmental mechanisms in early to center childhood that confer vulnerability to future suicidal behaviors. It’s her objective to border targets for early intervention to lower the incidence of a primary suicide try.
Moreover, Dr. Sheftall research the racial disparities current in suicidal conduct amongst youth. She is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus Emergency Taskforce that developed the Ring the Alarm Report and continues to look at danger elements, practices, and coverage suggestions essential to lower suicidal behaviors in Black youth.
