LA PLATA, Md. (TCN) — Deputies arrested a 48-year-old man they allege shot and killed his teenage stepson as a result of he did not do his chores.
In accordance with the Charles County Sheriff’s Workplace, on Wednesday, Nov. 20, simply after midnight, regulation enforcement officers responded to a taking pictures name on the 6400 block of Huntt Highway and located the suspect, Darshan Williams, standing outdoors. Officers went into the residence and located 15-year-old Michael Clemons unconscious and never respiration. They administered CPR on Clemons, however paramedics pronounced him deceased on the scene.
Officers took Williams into custody with out incident.
The sheriff’s workplace mentioned Williams “was upset the sufferer didn’t full some family chores,” which led to the taking pictures. He’s being charged with second-degree homicide, first-degree assault, and youngster abuse inflicting dying. Courtroom information present he was denied bond.
