PONTIAC, Mich. (TCN) — A person faces prices after allegedly killing his neighbor and sexually assaulting the sufferer’s spouse and daughter of their house this week.
In keeping with the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Workplace, on the morning of Sept. 18, 50-year-old Timothy Legard allegedly met the male sufferer exterior his house as his spouse was serving to their daughter prepare for college. Authorities allege Legard fatally stabbed the male sufferer and entered the residence, the place he sexually assaulted the sufferer’s spouse and daughter.
Prosecutors stated the spouse and daughter escaped and went to a neighbor’s house to name for assist. Responding officers situated the male sufferer within the driveway with a deadly stab wound to the chest. Deputies discovered Legard strolling within the space and took him into custody.
On Friday, Sept. 20, Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald charged Legard with first-degree homicide, two counts of kidnapping, three counts of first-degree legal sexual conduct, second-degree legal sexual conduct, two counts of assault with intent to commit penetration, and two counts of assault with a harmful weapon.
McDonald known as it “a fully brutal and horrific assault on a household.”
Legard stays held on the Oakland County Jail pending his arraignment. If convicted of first-degree homicide, Legard faces life in jail with out parole.
